You've got the skills to manage, now find your voice to lead.  The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program empowers mid-career professionals with the skills and training necessary to lead within complex, diverse organizations. Personal and professional formation are integral to the program, driving students to develop self-awareness about their individual leadership style while embracing:

  •  Conflict transformation techniques
  • Research-based decision making and strategic planning
  • Individual and team leadership
  • Financial management
  • Identifying and nurturing the gifts of others
  • Personal introspection and mentoring with an experienced professional

All of this is accomplished within the context of EMU's core principles of values-based leadership, stewardship, and creation care.

We also recognize that our students are busy, working professionals.  The MAOL program is specifically designed to suit your needs, offering a flexible schedule of evening (6 PM - 10 PM) and online classes that alternate every-other week.  This 35 semester hour program can be completed in as little as 24 months.

Not ready to commit to a full master's degree?

Our graduate certificate programs offer a core of essential courses that can be completed in as little as 12 months.  Credit from these courses can be transferred to a full master's degree if you decide to continue your studies.
