Dr. Mahone has a Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health and a PhD in nursing. She is currently the Location Coordinator for the RN-BS in Nursing Program at Eastern Mennonite University, Department of Nursing. In addition to teaching and nursing research in academia, overall nursing career includes med-surg, general duty, long-term care, primary care in a developing country, and public mental health.
