James Ward is an adjunct instructor at Eastern Mennonite University.
He has taught in the Adult Degree Completion Program and for the Bible and Religion Department.
He lived in Nijmegen, in the Netherlands, from the fall of 1997 until the fall of 2000 where he worked for the Catholic University of Nijmegen (now Radboud University).
He moved to Harrisonburg in 2000 and started as an instructor in the department of Philosophy and Religion at James Madison University in 2001.
He is particularly interested in social and individual religious and moral identity formation.
