Roxy Allen Kioko
Roxy Allen Kioko has over 8 years of experience in the social change sector. She is currently a project manager at the New Venture Fund. Previously, Kioko was the events manager for InsideNGO, where she oversaw the logistics for the organization’s 90 training events in 20 countries in addition to creating and leading the Emerging Leaders program. Prior to InsideNGO, she worked at the Great Place to Work Institute to produce FORTUNE Magazine’s annual “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list and learned that work should be meaningful, engaging, purposeful, and fun. Allen is the member engagement chair for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of DC and liaison to the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. Roxy has an MA in conflict transformation with a focus on organizational development from Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, participated in Seth Godin’s nano-MBA, and is a 2013 StartingBloc Fellow. She is a doctoral candidate at James Madison University’s School of Strategic Leadership Studies with a concentration in nonprofit and community leadership.
