Church Ministries & Administration

Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ – progressive community of faith seeking to apply the liberation teachings of Christ to contemporary social struggles and everyday life.
Emory Beacon of Light, Inc. – community development organization providing a variety of social services in the Brightwood neighborhood.
Capitol Hill Group Ministry – coalition of congregations of various denominations which supports at-risk youth, families, and those experiencing homelessness.
St. Teresa of Avila – Catholic Church in Southeast DC that celebrates diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.
Hyattsville Mennonite Church – urban Christian church of the Anabaptist Mennonite tradition.
Center for Children and Theology – hands-on spiritual life center for children and child advocacy, and support system for parents and pastors.
Church-run after-school programs, youth groups, and boys and girls clubs

Interfaith Programs

Faith & Politics Institute – brings together political leaders, including congressional representatives and staff, by offering experiential pilgrimages, reflection groups, retreats and public forums.
School for Liberation at the Festival Center (formerly the Servant Leadership School) – provides accessible and affordable political and theological education drawn from the wisdom of community members.
Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington– brings together faith communities to promote dialogue and work together towards social justice in the DC area.
