As part of its commitment to excellence in service, EMU has provided quality education to over 2,000 working adults in the wider Lancaster, Pa., community since 1975. The convenient location, flexible scheduling, compressed coursework, and low tuition result in programs that satisfy the unique needs of nontraditional students.
With faculty and staff dedicated to helping students fulfill their educational dreams, EMU at Lancaster offers fully accredited courses to working adults.
What will you study?
Students can take classes in pastoral studies or general education, move from an RN to a BS degree in nursing, or work to receive their Master of Arts in Education. University credit is awarded even when a student has not enrolled in a specific program.

*Courses may be taken for university credit whether part of a program or not. Selected courses from the M.A. in Education and Center for Justice and Peacebuilding can also be applied toward a seminary degree.
