Accreditation Announcement

The EMU Nursing Department is preparing for a re-accreditation for the BS and RN to BS programs and an initial accreditation for our new Master’s in Nursing Leadership and Management. A site visit from our accrediting body, CCNE, is scheduled for March 14-16, 2012.

CCNE provides the opportunity for program constituents to submit, in writing, comments concerning the educational program’s qualifications for accreditation status. CCNE will receive signed third-party comments until February 13, 2012. The comments will be shared with the CCNE evaluators who visit EMU, but they will not be shared with the Nursing Department at EMU. Your comments will be considered in the accreditation process.
