Applying to the Clinical Level
Admission to study at the undergraduate level at EMU does not imply admission to the clinical level of the nursing program. Students seeking to enter the clinical level of the nursing program must make additional application to the nursing program by: November 1 for August admission (fall semester) or April 1 for January admission (spring Semester).
Offers of admission will be made by the end of January for fall semester and by the end of May for spring semester. Acceptance assumes that all criteria will be maintained, and all prerequisites completed prior to the start of enrollment in the clinical level of the nursing program. For current EMU students:
- Clinical nursing application (essay not required)
For transfer students (first-degree):
- University application
- Clinical nursing application
- Official high school transcript
- Official college transcripts from each university/college attended
- Student life recommendation form – if you are currently attending a residential university/college.
For second-degree students:
- University Application
- If first degree was from a college other than EMU, complete transfer application
- If you graduated from EMU and are pursuing a second degree, complete the re-admit application
- Clinical nursing application
- Official college transcript
