He is an Advisor for the Multicultural Services Office at EMU. Marvin was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras. In 1994, and after only two years of marriage, Marvin and wife Mariana decided to become missionaries to the third country in the world with the largest Hispanic population after Mexico and Spain: the United States of America! Marvin has more than 21 years of pastoral experience as a youth pastor, church planter and senior pastor in different assignments in Louisiana, Texas, Florida and Virginia where he now lives. Marvin holds a BS in Management and Organizational Development (MOD) from EMU as well as a Masters of Divinity (M.Div) from EMS. The Lorenzana’s love family gatherings, sports events, the Greenville Book Fair, going to museums, reading, and, yes, having a good time among good friends!
