Bonnie Lofton

Bonnie Price Lofton is the editor/writer of EMU’s quarterly magazine, Crossroads, and of Peacebuilder, the bi-annual magazine of the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. She is also the news media contact person for the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. Ms. Lofton has 25 years of experience in newspaper, magazine and newsletter publishing. She has worked as a writer or an editor for the Montreal Gazette newspaper, the Canadian Press wire service, the Richmond News Leader, the Daily Progress (Charlottesville, Va.), the University of Virginia, Duke University and for a publisher of corporate newsletters. She has also worked in advertising for Science magazine and as public relations director of the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Ms. Lofton holds a masters in conflict transformation from EMU and a bachelors in English from McGill University in Montreal, where she was editor-in-chief of the daily student newspaper.
