Lauren Powell

“To serve God and love his people in any and every way.”

Lauren came to EMU in August 2011 as the Coordinator of Prospect Outreach. Now she not only coordinates and supervises the Telecounseling program in the Admissions Office, but works as the Admissions Counselor for international students and transfer nursing students. She is a 2006 graduate of Messiah College with a BA in Psychology and received her MS in International and Global Education from Drexel University in March 2011. After graduating college, she spent a year teaching English in Ecuador, South America. She has also spent time in Mexico, studying indigenous groups in Alaska, and has made trips to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
