Zucconi graduated from EMU in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in communication with a focus in journalism, and history.
Zucconi interned at James Madison University the following year in media relations before returning to EMU to serve as sports information director.
After three years as sports information director Zucconi moved to Hesston, Kan., to pursue a master’s degree at Wichita State University. Course work included an emphasis on social media, communcation, marketing and administration.
Upon graduation in the summer of 2011, Zucconi moved into his current role as news bureau director. He is married to Stephanie (Roth) Zucconi, a 2005 graduate of EMU.
