Marcy Gineris

Marcy brings 15 years of publishing and online media knowledge to her role. Originally from southwestern Pennsylvania, she honed her writing skills as a newspaper reporter in Pittsburgh before shifting to online writing and content management of websites. She managed IA and content for several corporations in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area before relocating to the Shenandoah Valley in 2001. She began work in EMU’s marketing department in early 2004.

Marcy attends a non-denominational church but is also an active member of Virginia Mennonite Conference. She lives in Shenandoah County with her husband, two children and her father and works from her home office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is pursuing a masters in digital communication and also enjoys seminary coursework in theology and peacebuilding.
