Sarah Defnall
Residence Director
Along with her role as RD in Northlawn, Sarah will be providing Career Counseling for students and alumni through Career Services as MA, Resident in Counseling. Sarah earned a BS in Psychology and a MA in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University. She has worked as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, specializing in In-Home Counseling at Crossroads Counseling Center in Harrisonburg, VA. She also served as the Counseling Service’s graduate intern at Bridgewater College prior to joining the Residence Life team at EMU. She is married to Josh Defnall and together they like to enjoy the great outdoors of the Shenandoah Valley.
