Edward Stoltzfus

Stoltzfus was a longtime pastor and noted Bible teacher before joining the faculty of Eastern Mennonite Seminary. He served a term as moderator of Mennonite Church General Assembly. As a seminary professor he continued his work in the denomination as a Bible teacher and committee member. A colleague said that Stoltzfus brought to his classes a great combination of “intellect, experience, enthusiasm and wit, practically inciting learning.”
