My favorite residence hall:

My favorite residence hall is Elmwood. I am a little biased because I have lived on the same hall for two years, but I love it there. I am the CA (community advisor) for my hall this year, and it is so much fun to live in the “woods” for the second year in a row. At least on my hall, the room doors are almost always open, creating a very welcoming and open environment. In Elmwood there are two floors of guys and the third floor is for girls. It is a lot of fun to have a mix of genders in the same dorm. There is rarely a dull moment.

My favorite intramural season:

I have played intramural volleyball, soccer, and floor hockey, but if I had to choose, I would say that floor hockey is my favorite. I like being outside and running around, even if I don’t really know what I am doing! These sports are a great way to get to know some new people, and even if you aren’t very skilled at sports like I am, it can still be a good time for socializing (that is if your team is pretty low key!)

My favorite reason to get off campus:

My favorite reason to get away from campus is definitaly to go out to eat! Harrisonburg has many different restaraunts to choose from.

My favorite class at EMU (and why):

My favorite course at EMU is my Anthropology class this semester. I did not take his class in connection to my major, but I find it to be very interesting to learn about many different cultures and people. It is also taught by Vernon Jantzi, who’s sense of humor has made several of my classes taught by him very entertaining.

My favorite EMU memory so far:

I have many great memories of EMU already so it is very hard to choose just one! I would have to say that one of the best times that I have had happened one evening this semester. A couple friends and I were bored, so we decided to dress up in crazy outfits and take pictures of ourselves. We had so many good laughs at ourselves that night!
