6. Cross-Cultural Experience
As part of EMU’s Global Village curriculum, each student is required to experience a cultural setting different from his or her own.
Students may choose from:

• a semester or year-long experience in Washington, D.C. with EMU’s Washington Community Scholars’ Center
• a one-semester experience in the Middle East, Central America, Europe or Africa
• a three-week summer session in one of a variety of locations in the U.S. or abroad
