2013 Homecoming and Family Weekend

Save the Date! October 11-13, 2013

Events will include:

• A festive gathering preceding class reunions on Saturday, October 12
• MainStage Theater production of “On The Verge” by Eric Overmy
• Common Grounds coffeehouse 10th anniversary
• Loyal Royals Fun Run
• Class reunions for years ending in “3” and “8”
• A Jubilee Alumni event and program for alumni who graduated more than 50 years ago
• Special interest reunions and departmental breakfasts
• Programs for youth and children
• Award recognitions for Hall of Honor, Alum of the Year, Distinguished Service Award, and the new Outstanding Young Alum Award
• Sporting events: soccer, field hockey, and volleyball
• Saturday evening Harvest Dinner, including food from our edible campus
• Sunday worship service with alumni award recipients

2012 Homecoming and Family Weekend

EMU celebrated 30 years of EMU’s cross-cultural program on Oct. 12-14, 2012.

It was a weekend of good food, fellowship and fun, and recognition of the early days of EMU’s study abroad program. There was something for all ages during the weekend, whether an athletic event or class reunion (if you graduated in a year ending in 2 or 7). Events included:

• Alumni of the Year: Vic and Christina Buckwalter
• Distinguished Service Award: David Boshart
• International Marketplace Buffet
• Cross-cultural group reunions (Middle East and Latin America)
