What is Parent Council?

EMU parent council functions to assist you the parents and the university in making EMU an enriching experience for you and your son or daughter.
Parent Council members meet three times a year, once in the fall and twice in spring.
This year's meetings are scheduled for September 17, January 28 and April 29.
The purpose is:

To provide opportunities for parents to counsel and advise the university on academic, social, religious and financial issues;

To create a support group for parents;

To cultivate communication between parents and faculty and administration.
Parent council members welcome hearing from other parents. Please let us know if we can be of assistance.
