I went to EMU with the idea that I would leave after two years to go to a 'real school' to pursue engineering. But in my first year I discovered that EMU's math/science curriculum was quite challenging, and my professors were providing lots of personal attention outside of the classroom. When I look back at all the lasting friendships and personal connections I made at EMU, I'm glad I stayed.
