Eastern Mennonite is hosting a baseball camp to prepare players for the upcoming high school tryout.
Eastern Mennonite baseball coach Mark Mace announced that he and his staff are hosting a preseason camp for high school players. The camp is January 24 and January 31, with a three-hour hitting camp followed by a three-hour pitcher/catcher camp. EMU coaches will staff the event, providing one-on-one college instruction. The Eastern Mennonite fall intrasquad baseball games known as the Blue/White World Series completed play Saturday and the blue team won 2 games to 1. The blue team won 15-11 Friday, led by a mixture of returning players and transfers. Saturday featured stronger pitching with white winning game two, 8-2, and blue closing out the rubber match, 2-1.
