University Commons Completed in fall 2000, EMU's University Commons provides state-of-the-art athletic facilities as well as a community gathering place. It houses the University Bookstore, Lion's Den snack shop and game room. It also houses student life office suites, including health services with massage services. The gymnasium is spacious enough to accomodate four full-court basketball courts. Dividers allow for team practices to overlap with recreational sports activities and other activities. Facilities include the only indoor pole vaulting pit in the region, a rock climbing wall, batting cages, and a state-of-the-art athletics training room. |

EMU Turf Field The EMU Turf Field was installed in the summer of 2006 and replaced the old turf field that had lasted for 17 years. The new turf was installed by A-Turf and will be the home field for the men's soccer team and field hockey team heading into the 2006 season. Select women's soccer games will also be played on the new field which will also support EMU intramurals, church league games, and other community activities as well. |

Gehman Field The home of the EMU Softball team was installed in 1990. The complex underwent a major face lift after the 2002 season and now boasts two refinished dugouts, a press box, and new outfield fencing. An enclosed outdoor batting cage with two pitching circles were also added behind the left-field fence. |

Bomberger Field The outdoor track and field were updated in 1990 and lie on the north side of campus, adjacent to Park Woods. Another soccer practice field was created south of campus in 1999 and will serve as the home field for the women's soccer team for the 2006 season. |

EMU Baseball Field North of the outdoor track and soccer field lies the baseball diamond, installed in 1990. The dugouts were refinished following the 2004 season. |

Tennis Courts Six lighted outdoor tennis and four basketball courts were installed along Park Road in 1990. Both courts provide outdoor recreation for the community as well as a home to fall intramural athletics at EMU. |

South/Practice Field The practice field or South Field, adjacent to Eastern Mennonite High School, will serve as the home to the EMU women's soccer team starting in 2006. |
