Women's softball - 2010 ODAC champions
Last spring the Eastern Mennonite softball team made a surprising run through the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament, winning it as the lowly eighth seed. For the Royals to turn the same trick in the regional round of the NCAA National Championships, it would have to start against the nation's No. 3 team, Salisbury. The two teams locked up on a surprisingly chilly day in Newport News, Va., for the regional's first game, and the Royals struggled to get base runners and took a 4-0 loss. (May 13) [More] [Box Score]
