With a viewing sponsored jointly by the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival, WMRA 90.7-WEMC 91.7 Public Radio, and JMU’s Lifelong Learning Institute, this superb documentary features world-class musicians who reflect on the power and genius of Bach’s music and perform his greatest non-choral masterpieces; a sequel (not yet produced) will present his choral masterpieces.
