Majors
Biblical
studies
A general curriculum that provides a
foundation in biblical and theological studies with a focus
on methods of Bible study for the student anticipating graduate-level
seminary study. Students receive extensive exposure to theological
topics and to contemporary issues of biblical interpretation
and the meaning of Christian discipleship.
Congregational
and youth ministries
A basic curriculum
in Bible and theology combined with practical training to
equip students to enter into pastoral or congregational
leadership roles. Classroom instruction on ministry and
leadership is integrated with a practicum in a local congregation.
Culture, religion & mission
Designed to prepare
students for a career in missions and service either within
contemporary Western culture or cross-culturally, or as
the foundation for graduate studies in fields such as anthropology,
religious studies or missiology. The program includes the
study of contemporary cultures, the meaning and value of
religion within them, and the implications these have for
mission.
Philosophy
and theology
For students with special interests
in theology and philosophy. It is designed to be foundational
for further study in graduate school or as a complement
to other academic disciplines.
