The practicum is a time of learning for students nearing the completion of their masters degree. A practicum can take a variety of forms and be done in settings new or familiar to students.

- Colleen Malone , from Ottawa, Canada created a website: www.peacevox.com
- Danny Malec , from Atlanta, GA, helped to develop and co-facilitate restorative justice seminars in Pennsylvania prisons.
- Hemlata Rai , from Kathmandu, Nepal, wrote a training module for communities to establish their own media centers with a particular focus on covering conflict and peacebuilding issues.
