CASAS is the language study base for our Central America semester program. This is an arm of the Latin American Anabaptist Seminary (SEMILLA). Semester and summer programs offer a variety of emphases including Spanish, peace and justice, development, missions, sociology and social work. Based in Guatemala City, CASAS provides an in-country orientation, homestays and numerous specialized field trips.

To register for CASAS, EMU students should begin by filling out the CASAS registration form online. For credit for summer program classes, students submit an EMU summer school registration form that is designated "CASAS" and signed by Cross-cultural Programs director. Students pay the EMU summer tuition rate per each credit hour and are responsible to arrange and pay for their transportation to and from Guatemala.
