- Derry/Londonderry - our Northern Ireland home for the first three weeks
- University of Ulster, Magee College - classes in Derry/Londonderry were here
- Grianán of Aileach - Donegal's most impressive monument
- The Verbal Arts Centre - our Irish cultural lessons were held here
- St. Columb's Cathedral - some students attended a service here
- Tower Museum - we took a tour here
- Derry City Council - we met the mayor
- Bloody Sunday Inquiry - public hearing about the events surrounding Bloody Sunday
- Ulster History Park - walking tour through Irish history
- Ulster American Folk Park - traces the Ulster-American connection
- The Flight of the Earls - they let us dress up in fun clothes
- Carrick-a Rede Rope Bridge - 65-foot rope bridge on the north Irish coast
- Giant's Causeway - probably Northern Ireland's most famous tourist attraction
- Dunluce Castle - our first castle (yea :-)
- Derry Women's Centre - some students visited this organization
- INCORE - organization which specializes in ethnic conflict
- Police Service of Northern Ireland (formerly the Royal Ulster Constabulary)
- Drumcliffe - site of W.B. Yeats' grave
- Sligo - we stayed in B&Bs overnight here
- Galway - our first extended stay in the Republic was here
October
- The Burren - large area of limestone rock in County Clare
- Aillwee Cave - cavern which stretches over a mile into the limestone
- Cliffs of Moher - amazing 700-foot cliffs
- Dr. Anne Byrne - one of our lecturers in Galway
- Kylemore Abbey - probably Ireland's best-known and most-photographed abbey
- Roundstone Musical Instruments - Bodhrán maker we visited
- O'Neachain Tours - company we used for the Burren and Connemara tours
- Limerick - setting of Frank McCourt's book, Angela's Ashes
- Bunratty Castle - host of a medieval banquet we enjoyed very much
- Cork - we stayed here overnight after visting Blarney
- Blarney Castle - site of the infamous Blarney Stone
- Blarney Woolen Mills - shopping centre near Blarney Castle
- Kinlay House, Galway - hostel we stayed at overnight on our return to Galway
- Corrymeela Community - midsemester retreat was here
- Ballycastle - town nearest Corrymeela
- Glenariff Forest Park - a scenic park with hiking paths and waterfalls
- Marine Hotel Apartments - we stayed here over the weekend
- Coleraine - town we visited to get internet access and shop during midsemster
- Rathlin Island - visible from Corrymeela
- Iona Community - members from their community led worship at Corrymeela
- Belfast - largest city in Northern Ireland
- Belfast City Council - we toured City Hall and met the Lord Mayor
- St. Clement's Retreat & Conference Centre - our monastery home in Belfast
- Mediation Network - we met with Joe Campbell from this organization
- Greater Shankill Alternatives - group working withn the Protestant community
- Community Restorative Justice - a Catholic organization we visited
- Stormont - The Northern Ireland Assembly (Parliament)
- Women's Coalition, Socialist Democratic Labor Party (SDLP), Progressive Unionist Party (PUP), Sinn Féin, Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) - political parties with whom we met
November
- Duncan Morrow - one of our lecturers in Belfast
- Free Presbyterian Church / Reverend Ian Paisley - some people visited his church, Martyr's Memorial
- Belfast Cathedral - others went here for services
- Widows and Widowers Against Violence Empowered (WAVE) - organization which helps those affected by the Troubles
- Belfast Giants / The Odyssey - team and location of the hockey game attended by some students
- Dublin - largest city in the Republic of Ireland
- Monasterboice Inn - we stopped and ate lunch here on the way to Dublin
- St. Patrick's Cathedral, Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo, Christ Church Cathedral, Trinity College - stops on the bus tour around Dublin
- Book of Kells - famous ancient copy of the Gospels
- Gate Theatre - the group saw several plays here
- The Dáil - the Irish parliment
- Tara Na Rí - where the High King of Ireland ruled from
- Newgrange - very large passage tomb
- National Gallery, National Museum - museums we visited in Dublin
- James Joyce Tower - Martello tower converted into a museum dedicated to Joyce
- Abbey Theatre - two plays were attended here
- Wynn's Hotel - hosts of our Thanksgiving dinner
December
- Belfast International Hostel - we stayed here overnight
- Causeway Hotel - our delicious Christmas banquet was here
- Belfast City Airport - on Dec. 4 we departed from here
