About Our Web Team

The Team

The website team is only the most publically visible of several committees formed within our group to handle a myriad of duties. Others include Health and Safety, Worship, Celebration, Evaluation and Feedback, and the "Thank You" Committee. The website committee is composed of Ryan Beachy, Jason Blake, Adam Nolley, Clay Showalter, and Melissa Webb. Anne Gross oversees the committee and keeps us more or less under control. Responsibilities are shared as follows:

• Photography: Shared responsibility between all members
• Picture selection for journals: Whoever happens to be around when the time comes
• Processing pictures for the web: Ryan or Jason with occasional help from Adam or Clay
• Web design: Adam and Clay
• Journal authoring: Anne, with entries contributed in turn by all the students
• Journal page creation (putting text and pictures on the page): Clay
• Development and research (aka constant tinkering with the website): Adam

Here are a few random facts and thank-yous:

• All journal entries have been written by Anne unless otherwise specified.
• The pictures you see on this site are only a fraction of the hundreds we've taken (over 700 as of this writing- and that's just with the digital camera).
• Thanks to the places which have allowed us to use their resources to make updates to the site. In Derry/Londonderry, Magee College allowed us to connect to their network, which was quite brilliant. Corrmeela let us use their fax line and ISP account to connect and that was very much appreciated
