Which Training Level Should You Take?

• = Youth STAR
• = Level II

Level II STAR training is a five-day workshop held in Harrisonburg, Va., at Eastern Mennonite University. It is designed for people who have attended Level I STAR and wish to delve further into the topics of trauma, restorative justice, peacebuilding and spirituality through application of the principles to specific case studies.

The generous funding which allowed Level II STAR to be offered free of charge to participants ended in December 2005. The course fee for STAR is $560.00 which does not include lodging, meals, and transportation.

Admission Criteria

• Attended beginning STAR and demonstrated the ability to work in a group and in a multi-faith setting

• Anyone involved in working with trauma, conflict, or security situations

• Applied in a contextualized way what was presented at Beginning STAR (There will be questions on the application related to this.)

• Able to attend the entire week
