"vast assortments of activities"

Halfway through the semester, and fall brings cold weather. I have definitely had my share of hot drinks these past few days. The leaves on the trees around EMU are always some of the most beautiful I’ve seen. This year Isabelle seems to have taken some of them early, but they are still quite brilliant.

Vast assortments of activities seem to be going on all around. Last weekend there were barn dances, movies, perspective students visiting, a concert, even an evening hay ride. I also attended a Church consultation conference, hosted at the Seminary, for one of my Missions classes.

Even with a lot of options for the weekend I managed to get a drawing project done and catch up on some reading. Weekends are always a great time to get things done or just have fun.

The chilly weather seems to draw people inside the dorm a bit more, so even while I’m studying there are things going on throughout the hall. It’s a great time to get to meet some new people.
