February Fun

February 07, 2006

It's only February seventh, and already February is proving to be so much fun! Last weekend was a perspective weekend, and I hosted my friend from back home, Lara. We didn't really have anything too spectacular to do-we went to a Common Grounds concert, went to the top of the hill to look at the stars (and ended up doing the "trust fall" for Mike), and then we spent a few hours sitting in our favorite place, the Maplewood hallway. It stinks in there, and it gets REALLY hot when it's crowded, but hey, if there's no lounges available, it's a great option. Hopefully, Lara had a good time and found our "fun" to be a pretty good time.
On Sunday night, I got pretty bored. I usually do, because everyone does their homework on Sundays. So, in an attempt to find entertainment, I made a fake person. I stuffed my jeans and sweatshirt full of pillows and clothes to make a replica me. Then I added shoes and a paper in the pocket, and I must say, it looked pretty real. At first, I just had it in my room on my bed, but that was kind of boring. So, I moved it out to the hall. It was great-people looked at it, thought it was a real person. I'd tell them to wake her up, and then they'd realize it. After the hall, we moved her to the stairwell, where we conned more people into thinking it was real. That was some great, cheap fun! Check out the pictures...coming soon.
This week is another busy week of work, school, homework, leisure...hopefully more fun. The weekend will definately be something to look forward to. Until then, I'll just keep on going!

be you
