Operation
Christmas Child
A giving
opportunity sponsored by Northlawn fourth
What
to put in a box
Operation Christmas Child -- a
project of Samaritan's Purse -- sends gifts to children
who would normally not get any and to spread the love
of God. These gifts are sent in shoeboxes that people
fill with toys, school supplies, and basic hygiene products.
The shoes boxes go to over 95 different countries and
each year are distributed to over 5 million children.
The
shoes boxes need to be completed by November 18
so that they will reach the children before Christmas!
The women on Northlawn fourth have set the goal of collecting
more than 100 shoe boxes
We
need your help!
- Collection
box sites with a list of what to donate will be in
the campus center by the information desk and in most
of the dorms.
-
If you want to completely fill a shoe box you can
put it in the collection box as well.
-
If you want to donate money you can send it to Angi
Payne in campus mail with "Operation Christmas
Child" written on the envelope.
