Linford Stutzman
“My passion in life is to teach in a way that encourages, equips and enables students to follow Jesus into the world, sharing the Good News of the Kingdom. Leaders of the faithful church in the future will need to understand their culture, the authentic witness of Jesus, and the mandate and opportunities for the church. My commitment in teaching missions and directing the John Coffman Center at the seminary is to contribute to learning in these areas.”
Began service: June 1991
Dr. Stutzman joined the Bible & Religion faculty in 1991 after serving with Eastern Mennonite Missions in Germany for eight years and in Australia for four years. He is also the director of the seminary’s Coffman Center. Along with his wife Janet, Linford has led several of the most recent cross-cultural study semesters in the Middle East, and recently concluded a 15 month sabbatical when he and Janet sailed the Mediterranean, tracing the route of St. Paul in the Book of Acts.
