POSITION: Director of Seminary Admissions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Prior experience in administration, public relations, admissions and recruitment. Ministry-related experience is also required.
Special Skills: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with prospective students, church and school constituencies, and other publics. The ability to generate creative promotional ideas for seminary programs and to facilitate student service functions, including financial aid and housing assistance. The position calls for administrative office time as well as regular times of travel. Must be a committed Christian in accordance with the EMU Statement of Commitment as well as the EMU philosophy and purpose.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for seminary admission and recruitment activities. These activities include development and implementation of marketing and recruitment strategies, publications, office management related to admissions and budgeting.
POSITION DETAILS: Twelve-month, full-time position. Remuneration and benefits commensurate with education and experience and in accordance with the administrative pay scale.
BEGINNING DATE: No later than July 2010
