POSITION: Full-time, continuing faculty position in Computer Science.
QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in CS or other computing field preferred. Master’s degree in CS or CIS with a related doctorate also acceptable. (Ph.D. candidates considered.)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching introductory to advanced level computer science, with a vision for continued growth in our CS major. Student advising and university service. Ongoing professional experience/scholarship.
COMPENSATION: Nine-month contract. Salary and rank determined by education and experience. EMU uses an extended-contract system.
APPOINTMENT DATE: Position will begin Fall 2010. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
