ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

Department of Language and Literature

POSITION: Full-time, ongoing faculty position in Spanish.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Ph.D. required.

Experience: Teaching experience required. Native speaker preferred; near-native fluency required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide leadership for a robust Spanish and Spanish education program and in the further development of a foreign language program; interest in teaching classes in all upper-level Spanish with preference for candidates with expertise in linguistics, pedagogy, and literature.

POSITION DETAILS: Position begins in mid-August 2012. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
