Admissions at EMS Lancaster

Eastern Mennonite Seminary at Lancaster is an extension site of Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg, Va. Our Lancaster extension, which serves much of Southeast Pennsylvania, provides a unique combination of study options.

Applications

Eastern Mennonite Seminary has two kinds of applications.

  • The online non-degree seeking application will allow you to take up to four classes.
  • To take more than four courses you must fill out a degree-seeking application. Currently the degree-seeking application is not available online. To receive a degree-seeking application fill out the application request form.

Once you have filled out an application and been accepted into the program you may use the registration form to register for classes.

Financial Aid

Financial aid eligibility requires admission as a degree-seeking student and enrollment of at least half-time (5 or more credits/semester).

Church Matching Grant

  • Half-time students (5-8 credits/semester) may receive annual matching grants (dollar for dollar) of $1000 per award year (includes fall, spring and summer terms.)
  • Full-time students (9 or more credits/semester) may receive annual matching grants of up to $1,000 for the first $1000 received (1:1 match) and an additional 1:4 match for any amount over $1000.

Student Loans
