Costs
Our program includes:
- 17 nights of lodging (on-campus and while in our cross-cultural trip)
- 47 meals
- 1 Graduation Banquet (A certificate of participation will be offered by EMS)
- 1 Round airplane ticket to Honduras (and all expenses implied in our trip).
- All materials used for training purposes
- 1 Internship/Service project during the second summer (2010) and all expenses incurred in it. This will be done in partnership with MCC’s Summer Program or MMN’s Youth Venture Program.
- 2 Mentor/Mentee Retreats to EMU (Including all expenses incurred in them)
- All expenses incurred in the one-on-one mentoring task such as meals, mileage and books.
- Plus a significant amount of theological training, vocational exploration and cross-cultural learning!
Tuition Cost: Our total tuition cost is $1,500.00 This money could be paid in up to three payments of $450.00 each. In past years, tuition money has been raised by receiving support from participant’s home congregation, and from relatives and friends. Also, some participants plan fund raising activities in advance to meet their goal.
Deposit: A deposit of $150.00 must be send with application. If nominee is not selected to be part of this program this deposit will be refunded to you.
Financial assistance: There will be a LEAP365 scholarship available up to $300.00. You will need to apply for this scholarship on a separate form no later than January 30 th, 2009.
