1) LEAP 365 Summer Experience- a 17-day event that focuses on theological reflection, vocational exploration and cross-cultural experience. Participants travel to a Latin American country as part of this experience. Learn more about our philosophy.
2) Mentor/Mentee Fall Retreat - A three-day event (Fri-Sun) that introduces mentors and mentees to the program.
3) Mentoring Cycle- a time of meaningful interaction between the mentors and the mentees. Mentors and mentees are expected to meet at least twice a month for supervised learning.
4) Mentor/Mentee Spring Retreat - a three-day (Fri-Sun) event for mentors and mentees to talk about what they've learned this far and think about next steps. This will also be a time to explore the LEAP 365 Service Experience assignment.
5) LEAP 365 Service Experience- Participants will engage in either a service assignment outside thier home congregation, or an internship in thier home congregation. Participants will also return to the LEAP 365 Summer Experience for a graduation banquet where they will be recognized for a job well done.
