Students participate in a three-week cross-cultural experience in May. Some are overseas and domestic options may be available in the future.

Summer 2013 Honduras

In May of 2013, five students and a faculty member spent time in Honduras with the MAMA Project, an organization that advocates for severely malnourished children. Our students were able to volunteer in health and dental clinics that focus on preventive care and to help equip Hondurans for better health. In addition to learning more about health care services, our students were able to spend time helping with projects to improve living conditions, such as minor repairs and painting. Opportunity was also given to enjoy the beauty that is Honduras with excursions to a nearby lake and other areas.
