-Bob Andringa, president of CCCU and UCCF
The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) and United Christian College Fund (UCCF), a subsidiary non-profit corporation created to raise funds to advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education, are accepting monetary donations to aid Christian campuses in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.
Bob Andringa, president of both organizations, recently invited the leaders of more than 300 sister schools to collaborate in the fund-raising effort.
- All schools, along with prayer for the victims of Katrina, are encouraged to collect individual donations and/or use institutional funds to aid affected campuses.
- All funds donated will be re-allocated to campuses most affected by this disaster. Campus leaders can use the funds for the greatest needs, but will be encouraged to consider individual employees and students who experienced particularly heavy losses not covered by insurance.
- Checks should be sent soon. ALL funds received will be given to those most in need. Checks should be made out to “UCCF – Disaster Relief” and mailed to:

- Please share information on volunteerism. Nate Mouttet, director of communications for CCCU, will gather information for news media on how Christian campuses are sending teams to help with clean-up and reconstruction. Send information directly to NMouttet@cccu.org.
