The Seminary Community Council (SCC) of Eastern Mennonite Seminary has chosen its leaders for the 2005-06 academic year.

Members are Sherah-Leigh Gerber, Linda Alley, Chet Denlinger, Laura Amstutz, Aaron Boggs, Theda Good, Jonathan Bowman, Ron Copeland, Bill Huffman, Patrick Nafziger, and Rachel Ringenberg.

Theda Good will serve as the facilitator for SCC. Chet Denlinger and Laura Amstutz will represent students at faculty meetings and Jonathan Bowman will serve as the student representative on the Academic Committee.

The old and new participants will meet together to get acquainted and prepare for next fall.

SCC is composed of both students and faculty and assists in the creation of a dynamic Christian community of sharing and caring.

The Seminary Community Council appoints the Worship and Fellowship committees and selects representatives to the Academic Committee, Faculty Meeting, Library Committee, Campus Development Committee, Lectureship Committee, and Strategic Planning Council.

The colloquium and forum series are sponsored by SCC, as is The Torch, the yearbook of EMS.
