Common Grounds Coffeehouse is EMU’s student-run gathering place located on the first floor of the University Commons. Whether you want to grab coffee, have lunch, find a spot to hang out with friends, watch a concert, or just relax, Common Grounds is the place to go on campus.

Common Grounds is a popular choice for live music on most weekends, as well as important social, political and spiritual discussions. Students use the space for hymn sings, films, game nights, club events, art, discussion, and conversations with President Swartzendruber. And don’t forget, our atmosphere and couches are perfect for those late-night study hours.
