EMU
desires to build relationships with the local community by
making the Fitness Center facilities available beyond students,
faculty and staff.
Anyone is welcome to take advantage of the indoor track when the building is open. Seven times around the comfortably padded track equals a mile, and walkers find time flies with the many distractions to watch as they walk.
Orientation to the Center
Any new or returning member is welcome to a complimentary half-hour Orientation, where
one of our knowledgeable staff will show you how to use equipment, give you
some workout tips and answer any questions you may have. Email the
Coordinator today to schedule your Orientation.
The Summer Special is a 3 month membership available for purchase May 1 - 23. Rates are: $45 for high school students, $50 for EMU alums, part-time EMU employees, EMU spouses/dependents, pastors and seniors or $60 for the general community.
Group exercise classes are open to all. Classes may be an additional small fee.
Persons who buy a membership must be at least 14 years of age.
Please be advised that this is a university fitness center with limited hours during certain times of the year.

GUEST PASSES: Guest passes are $20 and good for 5 visits. Single-day passes are $5.
The following special rates are good with annual memberships only:
- Get someone to join with you and get $50 off your membership.
- Alumni discount applies to anyone who has completed a minimum of 85 credit hours at EMU
- Senior discount applies to anyone who is 60 years or older.
Do you qualify for the above rates?
- EMHS Employee: Must be employed by EMHS half-time or more.
- High School Student: Must be currently enrolled and at least 14 years old.
- Pastors: Must be current, credentialed, and able to provide documentation.
- Dependent: Must have at least one parent working at EMU full-time and be 14-18 years of age, or still in high school.
- Family Plan (community): Must be at least a three-person family in the community. Add $50 for every additional child.
- Family Plan (alumni): Must be at least a three-person family, and both parents must be alumni of EMU. Add $50 for every additional child.
- Free Student Membership: Must be enrolled at EMU with at least 12 credit hours for the semester.
- EMU Retiree: Must have retired directly from EMU.
