Royal Launch: EMU Career Services has organized a new 4-part workshop series, titled “Royal Launch,” for students who plan to engage in internships, full-time jobs or graduate programs, now or in the future. The series focuses on aspects of professionalism (marketing yourself, networking, workplace etiquette, professional image) to help you be your best and succeed in the workplace as you begin the college-to-career transition! Sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays February 1-March 1, 12:00-1:00pm in University Commons 211/212. Email to RSVP!
Career & Service Day: EMU’s annual career fair is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 3:00-6:00pm on the indoor track. All students are invited to attend and chat with employers about their organizations and opportunities. If you attend, you can be entered into the prize drawing for an iPad Mini! Drop-in Resume Reviews are also happening during the event, 1:00-4:00pm in UC 222. (A resume review gives you an extra entry into the prize drawing!)
Career Story Interview: Graduate students in EMU’s Master of Arts in Counseling program have organized the Career Story Interview, a process to guide undergraduates through decision-making around choosing a major or career direction. This process includes three sessions this semester where undergrad students meet with the second-year MAC students for assessment and action planning. Session times will be scheduled individually to fit students’ schedules. If interested, to reserve a spot in the program.
